SaxoSport Ride Like a Pro is a unique opportunity for athletes to take their talent to a new level by training like professional cyclists. This exclusive programme is designed strictly for financial professionals and traders who share Saxo’s passion for cycling.
The programme runs from April through to September 2017 and provides participants with a number of unique benefits, including monthly coached group rides and individual training programmes supported by Rowe & King. This year we’ve teamed up with A.S.O. owned event’s organisers Human Race, and are able to give our participants the opportunity to attend special events with Saxo VIP hospitality such as the Chiltern 100 and L’Etape London. We’re also pleased to welcome Osteopath and ex-professional and Great Britain cyclist Alice Monger-Godfrey to the team.
Riders will be provided with kit items including team jersey and bib shorts, but should have their own bike, helmet, shoes and any other necessary equipment.
The season will culminate in the gruelling 185 km L'Etape London by le Tour de France sportive, which has quickly become a 'must do' in the sportive calendar. To achieve this, participants will undergo rigorous training with the guidance of expert coaches and be part of a team driven by a sense of camaraderie and the collective determination of athletes working hard to achieve their goals.
This peer–to–peer networking group brings together financial professionals and traders who share common interests.
Participants will be given a full programme with base training, peaking and recovery tailored to their physical capabilities.
Enjoy a spirit of teamwork and the company of other cycling enthusiast, while taking your conditioning to a new level.
Our season kicks off with an introductory session at Athlete Lab in the City, on Friday 28th April.
The ride calendar then involves a coached weekly evening ride rotating between two formats, and a larger monthly roll out.

What kind of equipment do I need?
SaxoSport Ride Like a Pro kit will be provided to successful applicants.
Size information and measurements will be taken ahead of time.
Team members must supply their own bike, shoes, helmet and all other necessary equipment.
To participate in the fortnightly Zwift sessions riders will need a membership with Zwift, and a (compatible) turbo trainer at home.
