britain-love_auto_tn_300.pngA recent Pew Global Research survey indicates a long-standing deterioration in support for the European Union, with only 43% holding a favourable view. Simmering disenchantment is anticipated to bubble over at the European Parliament elections, as the UK Independence Party’s poll performances continue to outweigh media criticism.

Nigel Farage has spearheaded Ukip’s assault on the EU in the run up to May 22nd. The party’s current support is reflected in the latest ICM Research poll, which reveals voter intentions in the forthcoming elections. According to the poll, Ukip – on 27% – will relegate the Conservatives into third place, indicating strong voter dissatisfaction with the EU and growing advocacy for a complete cessation from EU membership.
