Any remaining allowance cannot be carried over to the following year. Without utilising your ISA allowance, your investments may be subject to the taxes outlined here:

Share dividend income over £5,000 p.a.:

  • Saxo ISA - 0%
  • Basic rate tax-payer - 7.5%
  • Higher rate tax-payer - 32.5%
  • Higher rate tax-payer - 38.1%

Capital Gains in excess of £11,100 annual limit:

  • Saxo ISA - 0%
  • Basic rate tax-payer - 10%
  • Higher rate tax-payer - 20%
